Is it me or has everyone else noticed the 'power bowl' trend that's been taking over the foodie world lately? I'm not mad at it at all either. I love me a good bowl of power. Morning, noon, or night. I mean.... I'm a momma of a really active 7 year old, so I've got to stay on top of things with plenty of energy and strength.
While it's so hot out right now in the blazes of 'Texas in July' heat, I tend to opt for the simple, easy to put together, no heat involved style of cooking. At least until it cools off enough in a couple of more months to where I can feel comfortable with turning my stove and oven back on for any amount of time. This Cinnamon Roll Power Bowl fits the bill in every way. It's filling, light, easy to make, and wholesome to boot!
For this Power Bowl, I started out with a base of vanilla greek yogurt and added on some of the new Post Shredded Wheat Cinnamon Roll. That's right! There are new Shredded Wheat varieties in flavors that are perfect for adults! The Cinnamon Roll flavor is a fresh baked indulgence. The 100% whole grain Shredded Wheat that you know and love with a tasty cinnamon frosting and a burst of vanilla flavor from the middle.
Along with that, I added in some cinnamon pecans, chia seed, and even a little bee pollen. All things to give me even more energy to get me through my day. To finish off my cinnamon roll bowl, I mixed together a quick cinnamon drizzle to bring it all together and really hit those notes of cinnamon roll goodness.

Ingredients:
6 Oz. Fat Free Vanilla Greek Yogurt
1/2 Serving (11 Pieces) Post Shredded Wheat Frosted Cinnamon Roll
1/4 C. Cinnamon Pecans
1/2 Tbsp. Chia Seeds
1/2 Tbsp. Bee Pollen
Sprinkle of Cinnamon Pebbles, Optional
Cinnamon Drizzle:
1/2 Tbsp. Light Butter
3/4 Tsp. Brown Sugar Blend
1/8 Tsp. Ground Cinnamon
Directions:
Mix together the 1 Tbsp. Light Butter, 1 1/2 Tsp. Brown Sugar Blend and 1/4 Tsp. Ground Cinnamon.
Build your bowl with the 6 Oz. Fat Free Vanilla Greek Yogurt, 1/2 Serving (11 Pieces) Cinnamon Roll Frosted Shredded Wheat, 1/4 C. Cinnamon Pecans, 1/2 Tbsp. Chia Seeds and 1/2 Tbsp. Bee Pollen.
Drizzle the cinnamon sugar mixture over the top and enjoy right away!
