I kept this casserole lightened up by using lean eat and low fat cream cheese. I also beefed up the beef by adding in lots of onion and bell pepper. Other than that, this dish is super simple and easy to make. This recipe is definitely a keeper and I will for sure be making it again soon.

Keto Cheesesteak Casserole

Packed with all the savory goodness of lean ground beef, bell pepper, onion, and gooey melted cheese, this casserole is a low-carb dream come true.

Ingredients

  • 1 Lb. Extra Lean Ground Beef
  • 1 Green Bell Pepper, Chopped
  • 1 White Onion, Chopped
  • 4 Oz. Fat Free Cream Cheese
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire
  • 1 Tsp. Garlic Powder
  • 1 Tsp. Onion Powder
  • 6 Slices Provolone Cheese
  • Salt & Pepper to Taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. and lightly coat the inside of an 8x8" baking dish with non-stick spray; set aside.
  2. Lightly coat a large skillet with non-stick spray and heat over a medium-high heat. Add in the 1 Lb. Extra Lean Ground Been, 1 Green Bell Pepper, and 1 White Onion.
  3. Cook until the meat is browned and the veggies are tender, about 5 minutes.
  4. Once done, add in the 4 Oz. Fat Free Cream Cheese, 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire, 1 Tsp. Garlic Powder, 1 Tsp. Onion Powder, and salt & pepper to taste. Stir until the cream cheese has melted and everything is well combined.
  5. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and top with the 6 Slices Provolone Cheese.
  6. Place the dish into the oven to bake for about 15 minutes or until the cheese on top is melted.
  7. Once done, remove from the oven to enjoy right away.
