If you’re trying to be really good, you could always sub in a reduced sodium center cut bacon instead of regular bacon too!
Bacon, Egg & Cheese Waffle
Ingredients
- 1 C. Kodiak Cakes Power Cakes Flapjack and Waffle Mix
- 1 Tbsp. Oil
- 1 Whole Large Egg, Scrambled
- 2 Slices Bacon, Cooked & Chopped
- 2 Slices Reduced Fat American Cheese
Instructions
- Set the waffle iron to preheat.
- Whisk together the 1 C. Kodiak Cakes Power Cakes Flapjack and Waffle Mix and 1 Tbsp. Oil.
- Pour half of the mix onto the hot waffle iron.
- Top with the 1 Scrambled Egg, 2 Slices Cooked & Crumbled Bacon, and 2 Slices Reduced Fat American Cheese.
- Pour the remaining batter over the top of the fillings then close the waffle iron and cook accordingly. (Mine takes three minutes.)
- Once done, remove from the waffle iron and enjoy right away!
