Dill Pickle Chex Mix

It’s been a while, but I had seen this idea a while back now for a pickle flavored chex mix which I’ve got to be honest, really intrigued me. I like pickles, and I like chex mix… but would I like them together? As it turns out, I do! As is usual with chex mix, this one starts out with - you guessed it - chex cereal. I went with corn, but you can really pick wheat, rice, etc. Whichever base you want to start with.

Then we’re adding in other tasty bits like cashews, pretzels, and even some bagel crackers. You can use bagel chips/crisps, but I couldn’t find any of those to save my life, so I went with some small round bagel inspired crackers that I found instead. That’s sort of the fun part about chex mix anyway, isn’t it? Getting to swap things around!…

PB&J Snack Mix

Summer is coming and it’s always nice to have a snack mix on hand for yourself, others, or the kiddos when you’re out and about. And hopefully we all get to be just a little more out and about this year. This PB&J Snack Mix is a great grab-and-go mix because it’s very summer friendly being as there isn’t much in here that’s prone to the summer heat.

This mix has some good stuff in it that pretty much any PB&J lover will adore. Real strawberries. Peanuts. And a lot in between. This snack mix has just a little bit of everything from salty to sweet and back again along with a variety of textures ranging from soft to crunchy…

I don’t think I’ve ever met a Chex mix that I didn’t like. And when I heard that we were going to be stuck inside for a few days with icy weather outside, I thought it would be a great time to warm the place up with some homemade oven baked Chex mix.

This time I decided to go with another trending flavor, and that’s ‘Everything but the…’ seasoning. You know, the famous stuff that they sprinkle on ‘Everything Bagels’? I’ve used it a lot in the past, as I’m sure everyone has, and I always love it. With this Chex mix, it’s no different…

Back in June (wait really? I’ve really lost all sense of time and space…) I made these awesome Skinny Baked Garlic Parmesan Boneless Chicken Wings. And the seasoning mix that I put with it was just so damn amazing that I've kept it in my spice rack ever since. Yes, it’s really that good.

This seasoning goes on everything. I’ve used it to season meat, dough, pasta, salad dressings, etc. The list goes on and on. The blend itself is a little Italian, but with a spicy kick to it. It’s simple, easy to make, and truly one of my favorite spice mixes that I’ve come across yet…

Buffalo Ranch Chex Mix

If you like standard Chex snack mix, you’ll love this spicy buffalo version even more. How do I know? My mom makes traditional Chex mix around the holidays every year, and this year is no different. But, when I made this Buffalo Ranch Chex Mix she immediately said I would need to make more and wanted to know if she could have the recipe.

There’s a whole lot of good stuff in this mix. Cereal, cheese wisps, pretzels, nuts, and a whole lot of flavor. This Chex mix is probably my new favorite. Cheesy and just spicy enough to keep you coming back for more with that delicious hotting inspired taste…

Pineapple Juice Cake

Guys, there isn’t enough good I can say about this Pineapple Juice Cake. It’s truly and honestly, one of my most favorite cakes. Even next to pineapple upside down cake. And yes, there is a reason I haven’t yet posted a recipe for a pineapple upside down cake here. - And the reason is that it’s one of my all time favorites and I want to be sure it’s healthier version is every bit as delicious as the original.

This cake, takes the cake! It’s sort of similar in texture to a tres leches cake in that the cake has time to soak up all the pineapple juice goodness to leave you with one deliciously moist and gooey cake. I would eat this cake for breakfast, snack, dessert… anything and everything! It’s just that damn good…
