Toaster Oven Bacon & Egg Toast

It’s been a busy start to the week and it’s going to continue being a busy week I think. But, that’s okay! I’ve at least got a breakfast plan with this quick Toaster Oven Bacon & Egg Toast. I’ve had my toaster oven for a couple of years now, but in the past I’ve only ever put it out on the counter and made use of it on rare occasions and I’m starting to see that maybe that was a mistake!

This Toaster Oven Bacon & Egg Toast is super easy to make and I can get it going while I’m getting the kiddo ready for school or doing any number of other things that I do in the early part of the day. This breakfast is as simple as it gets with just three actual ingredients. Bread. Egg. Bacon. That’s it!

If you don’t have a toaster oven, well then this probably isn’t the recipe for you! But I’m sure you could do something similar with the oven. I just don’t know off the top of my head what the exact temperature would be and what-not since I haven’t yet done it myself!

Again, we’re using a pre-cooked FULLY cooked bacon here and the egg is pan cooked to almost done before putting this toast together. Outside of that, this is a perfectly easy recipe that comes together in no time and is as tasty as it is simple.

Toaster Oven Bacon & Egg Toast

A simple breakfast that takes less than 10 minutes to make. Quick, simple, and as tasty as it comes!

Ingredients

  • 1 Slice Brioche Bread
  • 2 Slices Cooked Low Sodium Center Cut Bacon
  • 1 Whole Large Egg
  • Salt & Pepper to Taste

Instructions

  1. Place the slice of brioche bread on a pan fitted for the toaster oven.
  2. Set the toaster oven to toast (I set mine to shade 4), and place the pan into the toaster oven.
  3. While that's getting a little toasty, lightly coat a small skillet with non-stick spray and start to cook an egg over medium heat.
  4. When the egg is partially done and the white is mostly set, but the yolk is not, remove from the heat.
  5. Remove the toast from the toaster over and set the two slices of cooked bacon over the toast, followed by the par-cooked egg.
  6. Place the pan back into the toaster oven until the egg is cooked to your liking.
  7. Once done, remove from the toaster oven and season with salt & pepper to taste.
  8. Enjoy right away!
