Who said waffles have to be sweet all the time? Not me! Ever since I got my new waffle maker a couple of weeks ago, I’ve been a waffle making fiend. Waffles today were savory, but more on the end of breakfast or brunch than my cornbread waffles from last week.

Savory Cheddar & Rosemary Thumbprints

I’ve been toying with the idea of savory twists on classic sweets for a while now. And these Savory Cheddar & Rosemary Thumbprints just seemed to fit the bill this time around. I managed to get my hand on some local made roasted tomato jam and well… just couldn’t help myself.

Savory Holiday Monkey Bread

I love monkey bread. I love that it’s a quick, easy, and delicious way to pack a lot more flavor into any traditional biscuit dough. Usually monkey bread is sweet and is made as more of a breakfast or even as a dessert. Such as my cherry pie version, or my pumpkin spice one! But, not much can beat the strawberries and cream monkey bread.
